The Tejano Academy of Fine Arts (TAOFA) is a non-profit corporation
that utilizes the
arts & culture of Texas as a discipline to work with at-risk young
people in south Texas.

The Tejano Academy of Fine Arts (TAOFA) announces that we are not
associated with another organization called
The Academy of Tejano Artists and Musicians. They are currently
raising funds and soliciting sponsors under the name
of the Tejano Academy. Please do not confuse our organization with
theirs. They have a completely different mission statement
and have chosen to use a name similar to ours to perpetuate their cause.
We wish them well in their endeavors as it is admirable
for anyone who seeks to perpetuate Texas art and culture. However,
we only wish that they would seek funding and sponsors
using a name more closely related to their complete name as this is
causing confusion to our supporters and sponsors.
TAOFA would like to say thank you to all our supporters and sponsors and
hope that the above statement has cleared any
