It is a pleasure to extend a warm South Texas welcome and offer the hospitality of our entire community to the participants of the Tejano Academy of Fine Art's 3rd Annual Talent Competition and Showcase on Saturday, August 27, 2005. You will be our distinguished guests as you convene here in our "All American City."
As Mayor of the City of Corpus Christi, I am proud of this premier Fine Arts even and appreciate the continued support to improving the diverse arts and culture in our community. As you take part in the workshops at the Antonio E Garcia Education Center, and participate in the evening event at the Ramada Hotel, we hope that you will have the opportunity to explore other city highlights such as the Texas State Aquarium, The History and Science Museum, and the South Texas Institute for the Arts.
